Zeehaven IJmuiden N.V. facilitates large-scale offshore oil and gas projects as well as the assembly and construction of offshore wind farms on the North Sea.
The North Sea wind farm off the coast of Egmond aan Zee (Vattenfall) and the Prinses Amalia Wind Farm (Eneco) off the coast of IJmuiden were both constructed from the Port of IJmuiden. The port was also used for the construction of the Luchterduinen Wind Farm (Eneco). Zeehaven IJmuiden N.V. has three boat landings and a floating pontoon for six ships to carry out maintenance on the wind farms.
A project site is available at IJmondhaven, directly adjacent to quay 600m1, where the port has an average depth of NAP -10 m1. This site is also available for rental for offshore projects.
